Tell me, what do you think of these sets for general purpose PvE and PvP, especially RA / TA. Not really doing any GvG / HA...yet.

Survivor's Armor most likely, with Superior Vigor, Attunement, and Attribute Runes, most likely minors or 2 minor + major on head.

Wand w/ 10% Casting & 10% Recharge
Shield w/ +30 HP & 20% Cripple or 10% Casting

Wand w/ 10% Casting & 10% Recharge
Offhand w/ 10% Recharge & +30 HP

-5 Energy w/ +5 Armor or +30 HP
Shield w/ +30HP & 20% Cripple or 10% Casting

+5 Energy w/ +5 Armor or +30 HP
Offhand w/ +15/-1 & +30 HP

Mostly for prot builds, like Benediction & Blessed Light. Thoughts and comments are welcome, as I haven't started to get everything together yet, and would like your input before I do so.

The -5/+5's use Fortitude or Enchanting, not Defense.

Just something I picked up while scanning.

Yea, i'm thinking of +HP instead of +Defense on the two swords for highside / lowside. It'd help against armor ignoring spikes, and the ever annoying sin degen.

i myself use PVP armor, with a minor on one part and the energy/healing runes on other parts, the energy on my chest, and the next one ( gives u 2 pips) then i have 1 runes of 10hp on one of the other 2 parts, and a susper vig on the last part. and a head peaice of minor runes witch i swap about.

my weapons atm r

15/-1 wand with 10% recharge
Byzzr's Benediction

normal wand (10%/10%)
shild +30hp and -5/20%

+5e axe With 20% enchanting (totom axe)
shild +30hp and -5/20%

-5e axe +30hp
shild +30hp and -5/20%

ur set doesnt look to bad tho idremove the wand form the top set for ur +5e axe and have that as ur base set

try the -5e focus to have better switch VS E-Denial builds

My armour is:
All survivor's insignias
Minor protection on a prot scalp
Superior Vigor on a top
Minor healing and divine on the hands/pants
Vitae on the boots

My weapon sets are:
Default:
+5e sword/+30hp and a +30hp shield/+10al vs xx
Low:
-5e sword/everything above
Wand set:
20/20 prot wand and either a shield as above or a +30hp focus with a recharge mod or a armour mod
High set:
15/-1 wand (not really sure)/15/-1 focus

How are you getting 10% casting on shields?

Have as much health as possible for monk. In PvE, you can run higher energy because you shouldn't be targetted most of the time.

The -5e focus really only gives -2e total when you don't meet the req, as opposed to +0e with a shield. By most accounts and my own experience, the extra defense from the shield outweighs hiding an extra 2e.
